Crown of the Valley Brewing Society (COVBS) is an extremely dedicated homebrewing club hailing out of Pasadena, CA. Our mission: To strive to produce exceptional homebrew for and amongst ourselves and the rest of the homebrewing and beer community. Etsablished in 1988, COVBS is currently celebrating their 21st year of homebrewing excellence. This past year's enthusiasm in the club has really shown throughout homebrewing events and competitions throughout the country.

-Thanks to Lake Casitas, the CHA, and all the clubs and pro brewers that made this year's SCHF a blast.
Crown of the Valley had a great attendance and more beers then the box could hold! With the unveiling of our new serving box, our Brasserie de Couronne barrel aged Saison and our three different Porter Floats, we feel like COVBS brought something special to the table this year.

With members such as Todd Peterson (President, Brewer for Craftsman Brewing Co.), Herb Adams (Brewin' With Herb), John Palmer (Homebrewing Legend and Writer), and Push and Sven (Audio Contributors: The Brewing Network), Crown of the Valley is an amazing wealth of knowledge for members and non-members alike. Aside from those listed, there are about 20+ additional members of COVBS.

The club meets regularly once a month to sample, analyze and critique each others' brews. But, yes, there is business to discuss as well. Imagine that! Business includes upcoming events such as contests, festivals, and other events going on in the brewing community. There is also an online forum where a wide range of topics are also discussed. Club projects, fundraisers, events, and anything beer related are discussed both at meetings and on the forum.
