Holy shit...PRAISE THE LORD! or uh...PRAISE A LORD!

I didn't think I would ever hear that. I've always seen this beer and never tried it. Will now...

Hate is a might strong feeling there Herb...not all IPAs are created in the same mold...some are just bigger pale ales-
but I believe they should be paler, crisp, drier and very balanced...Not all are West Coast style with their big insecticidal high alpha hop dosage. I think Union Jack is a mighty-fine upper end IPA!
If I am not mistaken the Hop Stoopid from Lagunitas is a rather biggish full-bodied Double IPA!-8% abv

I've gotta give it up to this post. I am addicted to IPAs but I understand when others don't like them...

I don't understand, however, when people can't get down with almost any flavor of Lagunitas style IPA. They always have, not only a bold and striking first response, but an amazingly flavorful finish. This is one of the first IPAs I usually introduce people to because it is so accessible and refreshing.

Metolious has a really wonderful middle of the road IPA called Dolly Varden India Pale Ale. When ever I go to Albertsons I pick some up. Metolius is brewed under contract to the Portland Brewing Company / Pyramid Breweries which is in turn owned by Magic Hat Brewing Company - wait it does not stop there. Magic Hat is owned by Independent Brewers United.

All I know is this is a great every day IPA. Give it a try.

2010 is the year of the Metal Tiger

Metal Tiger – Years 1950 and 2010

Assertive, competitive and sharp, once Metal Tigers set their sights on their goals there’s no stopping them. They’ll always do what’s necessary to remain at the center of attention. Metal Tigers tend to jump to conclusions; a behavior they need to work at improving.
