I say just stick one in the ground.... when you leave you can dig it up. You dont have to build a mighty 20' trellis for it if you dont want... keep it low key, something that landlord wont mind. Worse case scenario, if it gets out of hand, dig it up and junk it.
Anyways, let me know. I can drop yours off tomorrow after work. _________________ Next Up:

if not many people chime in ... i'll give you 2 centennials for the same pot... that way better chances of success! But just like the Nugget... most of these already have sprouts. _________________ Next Up:

I thought this post would've been more active and I was holding back. I am putting in a 20ft. elevated box for hops this weekend and haven't ordered any hops yet, I'll take whatever goes unclaimed. _________________ Kegged: ESB

I've got plenty of Cascade and Centennials, and was starting to think i'll just drop them off at Steinfillers since no one is chiming in.
So please, let me know soon. Even if your brand new to this forum... POST if at all interested (or know someone who is). I wont mind if you change you mind and trash it or give it to someone else.
If especially interested (and if i can find the time) i could even get some more cuttings from my nugget plant. So let me know if you especially want Nugget also.
Sven, not sure if i'll make it to the next meeting. If I can't, I'll send send them with another club member. Or we can arrange something if you want them sooner. They're just sitting in my fridge. _________________ Next Up:

I'll take centennial and cascade if your going to the AHA Rally at Stone this weekend. I won't be making it to the Lancaster meeting. _________________ www.jprprint.com

I won't be able to make it to the March meeting my niece is getting married, but I'm certain that any rhizomes that make it to Lancaster that aren't spoken for can find their way to me. My preference in order is Centennial, Cascade, then Nugget.
Thanks a lot James. _________________ Kegged: ESB

The way things are going i probably won't make it to the meeting or the Stone ralley. But I'm sure i can leave them with someone who is gonna make it to each (Stone for James and Lancaster for Sven).
Todd or Herb... would you mind taking some down to Stone with you for James if i drop them off at your place tomorrow (Friday)? _________________ Next Up:

I've still got a few Centennials, and maybe 1-2 Cascades. They seem to be doing pretty well in the fridge last i looked a couple days ago. If they still look healthy i'll bring them to the next meet (or drop them off with someone who will be there). _________________ Next Up:

My dad just moved back up to Mariposa a few months ago after being in Las Cruces for about 5 years. Before he moved to New Mexico, I remember walking in the park by the river up here in Oakhurst and seeing what I thought at the time to be a rather odd looking vine growing. I asked what kind of flower it was and my dad said it looked like a hop flower...
Once I got into brewing, I was obviously familiar with what hops were, and I always remembered the wild hops growing by the river and told myself if he ever moved back up this way, I'd seek these out. So now, about 7-8 years since I last saw them, I took a walk down the same path and found vines everywhere.
I did my best to cut a few rhizomes, But these vines are probably 10th generation or more, so the roots are deep. I'll plant a couple, and others are up for grabs... _________________ If I'm gonna drown, put a beer in my mouth.

I planted one of mine too deep and it died. If you have an extra one, I'd love to have it. _________________ On Tap: Wethop Pale Ale

OK, that may tap me out between Paul V., Wally, and Brian. I didn't grab too many. _________________ If I'm gonna drown, put a beer in my mouth.
