Anybody looking for a carpool?

Jay will likely be leaving around noon on Friday and has a spot for one. He's coming from Fontana.

Otherwise, Erik, what time do you plan on leaving? Might make sense for you two, as you guys are so close.

Updated list to include Jay.

Also, with our seven sites... aren't two for the FERM? That leaves us 5 sites... or 5 free cars. We're up to 12, so 7 will be paying the extra. If I remember is 18 per night right?, so 7 cars for the weekend might add up to over $250 in parking, and I don't think everybody is accounted for yet.

Yeah 18 per night. It wouldn't kill some of us to park in the main lot where you come in after you get yourself settled. I know that sounds pretty scary and alien, but it can work. I'm trying to fix up an older bike of mine to bring for going back and forth. People can drive you to your car, or you can always (gasp!) walk to your car if need be. I'm thinking the people who are bringing the box and club officers should really be given the opportunity to park first as they are extending themselves for our benefit. Personally, I don't give a crap if my car isn't in my view. I don't like tents anymore, but I can deal with it for a couple of nights. I can drink away the back pain.

I don't know when I'll be driving up, but I am flexible on a leaving time if someone wants to carpool.

Why don't we just put the parking cost in with the camping cost so everyone pays the same flat rate per day?

That's kind of the idea. I think we were thinking that $20.00 per night per person would do it, so I think that's what we should plan on... Final numbers won't be in until the man with the money crunches the numbers with all the people at fest... might be a team effort. Very Happy

Hey, I got a couple of late comers to the party who are looking for a spot, and wondering if they can get a ride to their campsite.

The only open sites are tent only and in Blah, Blah, M and Blah. These are FAR from our site and VERY FAR from the rest of the world....VERY FAR, VERY FAR, VERY FAR...

We should start a list of items that people
are going to bring to fest. Food , plates, stoves
lanterns etc.
